Wasn't Si pretty lucky with dice in that report in general? And the Roman commander being killed did not help matters. I know that Si knows his stuff and is a good opponent but I don't think this battle can be taken as the norm. Would like to hear more reports if possible. The basic idea was to do everything possible to survive against the legions and kill everything else, which strategy has already been pointed out above.
In the army lists quoted, the Roman cavalry have no swordsman POA. Is that correct?
Simon stated an intention to do some rematches. What were the results?
