Also, if I am not mistaken, Teutons/Germans had rather small and mangey horses, and Caesar equipped a good amount of his German cavalry with better and apparently bigger Gallic horses, so maybe Gallic Horses instead of Teutonic Horses.

Both Gauls and Germans were noted for their fine cavalry, but the emphasis of note for the Germans was their practice of carrying along a light infantry trooper with the rider, and their fierceness/craziness, while the Gauls had apparently bigger and better horses and pehaps more well drilled cavalry. The Germans seem to have been just fiercer and wilder.
