What about the german battle order ?

I noticed the pikes, so the german imperial army would be mostly regular average . Did the fact that this army had no "superior" troops have any significant impact ?

I played at Vitry with such an army and usually putted the glorious generals at front line to be able to reroll the ones ! but it was sometimes "hairy" .

Definitely the average knights in 4s proved a weakness as 2 bases took them down as autobreaks. The pikes were fine as average.

On my suggestion Ray has made one BG of Knights into a 6 for bigger impact with a general. Comes at you 5 wide with 1 at the back for 10 upgraded dice - much nastier.
