FWIW I don't mind how it is now, sure on paper it's worth building those 2 mineral for 2 credit buildings but there's usually much better things to build instead (like units) unless it's a specialised mining city. So the mechanics are good, having to weigh up different expected cost/returns, and I don't feel the need to *ever* build refining arrays in cities with no minerals. But if it has at least 1 miner, it'll get one eventually. I don't have any problem with that.

I'm still beelining for the tech but that seems to have been pushed back a column too, so it's a little more costly. And the later buildings are much less valuable so it's less important to rush them all asap.

I find that getting 2 minerals per turn for 32 production investment (especially since the transcend level building gives 8 minerals for only 2 credits upkeep) is quite a nice return, especially if you're running out of 2 mineral spots.
