Keep in mind that BA is intended to be a fun game, not a warfare simulation. Some details that appear in other games would be nice to have in an Ironman version but are not likely to be added to the basic game.

Hehe... thanks J2D... yeah, we know what you mean... we're just trying to figure out ways to bring back the balance between a fun war game which is reasonably accurate (tough to crack German tanks) versus the less fun experience of nearly always losing (and losing badly) as the Allies (because of morale suppression that doesn't actually suppress those German tanks)... We're not sure what the answer is (yet)... But we'll experiment (Enric & I are going to agree to cap ourselves to one Tiger and one Panther to see how that works out)... Btw what are the stats on German wins versus Allied ones since 2.0.4 came out? If the balance is right, it shouldn't be too far off 50/50.

All this kind of feedback is very useful. I think once 2.0.4 goes live and we can see the results and get wider comments we will know more.

We are definitely looking at whether we can have an optional "ironman' way to play the game, or some missions, including things like imobilised units and so on, but we want to be sure we don't descend into a crazy maze of optional rules :)

Cheers
