batesmotel (Syracusan) 12/12 - deeter (Syracusan) 14/15
The last 3 turns of the second game saw both of us 2 from breaking without either one of us finishing it. On the last turn I finally charged a hoplite that was below 75% strength into a disrupted Carthagian chariot and the hoplite broke to end the game.
As a request for future rounds, would it be possible to try to avoid the really simple scenarios like Marathon and Akragas. While these really small scenarios without many units and without much significant terrain are good for learning the game, they really aren't all that much fun to play. A small scenario can be good if it involves interesting terrain like many of the starter army ones do, and a larger scenario with diverse opposing forces can be interesting even if there isn't much important terrain but both small and lacking important terrain really tends to be boring to play.

The next scenario in chronological order that is of decent size is Sparta 338 BC. I'd be happy to give that one a go.

Crimissos River is a small scenario, but also one where the terrain plays an important part. Unlike the featureless plain of Akirgas, the terrain makes it a much more interesting scenario while still a smaller one.

Thats unlucky..... I been saved again... I believe!
Came up with a solution.... we can play High, Mod, low, to vary the games. They do seem to... at times come in batches.. 3 highs, a low then 3 more highs.
So if we all agreeable the next games will be as follows:
Gaugameta 331BC (91BGS) High, Crocus Plain 353BC (40BGS) Moderate, Crimissos River 341BC (30BGS) Low.
