I believe they are hidden unless they are directly adjacent to an enemy naval unit, of any type. Going to need confirmation on that though.

I'm pretty satisfied this thread served it's purpose. German and British both have roughly equal chance of winning, victory mostly dependent on player tactics and skill.
If you want to talk about HA, feel free to do so here, or use the new sticky for all the MP maps. :)

Frighteningfred just won as the Germans, and I've got a German win in the works against deadtorious to counter your victory. ;)

But I've stopped updating the score count on this thread, I'm sufficiently happy that both sides have at least a chance to win. The scenario doesn't clearly favor one side or the other. Just bumping it to show someone the 'Atlantic Net' they've run into, lol. :)

Schnellboats Delay in Move - Hunters of the Atlantic

I've been playing "Hunters of the Atlantic" as an MP game from version .999 to RC4. One problem that I have noticed is when moving German Schnellboats (the small torpedo boats) is that there is an unusual delay from selection of the move point to the actual moving of the unit. So, the situation looks likes this:

Click the speedboat.
Click on the chosen hex to move to.
Wait - up to 20 seconds in some cases.
Speedboat moves.

If a speedboat is chosen immediately afterward, there is no delay in the move.
If another unit is chosen and then a speedboat is chosen, the delay happens again.

This behavior is still true in RC4.

I know that it is very late in the game to report this.
