Units can be filtered, just click the Filter button and choose what units you want to see in units panel.
I know I'm being dense, but where is the "filter" button? I can't seem to find it.

It is, surprise, on the toolbar. It has 3 arrows - one passes through the wall and the other two are blocked. This is supposed to symbolize "filter".

Is that what that is? I assume it was a Blitzkrieg button or something. Red spearhead breaking through enemy lines.
As an alternative, which is what I've been using, you can go to 'view' and then 'palette filter'.
Just make sure you have the 'unit layer' selected first. Edit -> Units.

LOL... I can't wait until the full documentation comes out for the editor.
(But seriously, despite it's drawbacks, I do enjoy using it.)

Well, since it is beta, perhaps you can share the full list of drawbacks with me?

Heh... I think the biggest drawback is that there are apparently many shortcuts to aid in scenario building, but at this point they are unknown (at least to me) because there isn't any documentation available. And of course, things like the "filter" button being present but not easily distinguishable. Again, these aren't serious malfunctions; it would just be nice to have shortcuts and such labeled better.

You need to explore where no David has ever gone before. This is how Obeewan became a Jedi Master.
