We got a problem with the 25 pdr.. I ran a quick test with the AI. That artillery is without a doubt a game-beaker... It feels like it's worth 5 Kings.
I'm going to have to remove an m8 (they are useless anyway, always have been), and I'll remove the extra hellcat too. Then I'll probably give axis ANOTHER Panther as well.
I still don't know. Maybe I'll add more Kings to axis if it seems too strong.

I wrote it, ghat the 25 pdr is TOO STRONG!
Maybe we have to change the number of shells pro square or?
During hte first play M8's didn't hurt me too much!
But I am not sure, if the bombard came from them or normal mortar!
Once M8 destroyed Sd. Kfz. with direct hit!

Obsolete would you be interested in writing up a guide on the map editor? I know Phil was planning to do it but he has so much other stuff to do and it woudl be good to get it from someone who doesn't know what is supposed to happen, but writes what actually happens.

Originally M8's didn't bombard because of a bug so they were useless in 0.7. Now they are fixed, and they still suck. Short range, and very bad accuracy, and not so great damage. Basically they are garbage.
The 25 has the best of all worlds. VERY LONG RANGE, VERY HIGH ACCURACY, VERY HIGH DAMAGE. And of course it fires each turn.
I'm going to do this for now:
1 less M8
1 Less Hellcat
1 Less Jackson (after I had just added one).
Remove FireFlys except for one.

Even a half-decent guide is going to take time, and unfortunately I'm spending more than enough with figuring things out and modding what I'm doing as it is. And then there's the Combat Command II Beta project I'm involved in as well at this point. But I'll try to help out with any issues posted on the forum.

In my desert scenario I destroyed with my M8 two Panzer IV's!!!
