Some feedback on the bug report system itself.

When playing through Steam and you take a Steam screenshot and then use shift+tab to access the Steam overlay, when you are back in the game, every use of the Esc key takes you to the Submit Bug form. Exiting the game and restarting will fix this, at least until you use shift+tab again.

Thanks for the report - I'll sort out a workaround for it.

Cheers

The "recruit mercenary company/local units/non-standard units" ignores the current year and lets me recruit 13th century knights/spearmen in 1055. I find this quite immersion breaking and think that these regional decisions should take the military expertise into account and generate units from the correct era. I should have received early knights and spearmen, not the units in my stack.

In version 1.03, a cutoff date has been introduced to differentiate between two periods for mercenary units. Non-standard units follow the army lists of their respective nations, divided into three historical periods.

After I open the recruitment Screen, the next/previous buttons don't work.

The game gets confused when iterating through province-level recruitment queues (and you only have one province, so scrolling isn't applicable) and regional recruitment queues for regions outside of any province. I’ll look into harmonizing that.

Why can't I form vassal here? is it because of the abandoned palace?

You would need to kill one of the nearby nations, no spare is available so early.

Hello,
Here is the description of the problems encountered:

- I chose a regional decision "vassal" that I place on my region. Then I make a backup record.
- then, I launch the end of the turn.
Since then, the turn does not pass, it remains at 0%.
I restarted the previous saves my manipulation. Same, the turn does not pass and remains vigilant for a long time.
I ended up restarting the game.

I successfully created Champagne from the backup turn. The current turn does not have the decision available. Did you target a specific province in particular?

Venice population growth expected at 16 turns, but no movement per turn. Remains 16.

As the region is part of a Domain, and since there is one of your armies in this domain, it is giving away most of the food it produces to feed the soldiers.

Byzant declares war again despite us already being at for for some time. I think its 4th time they do it while we were at war.

It came from a revolt in Manzikert which was not checking if you were already at war.

Really like your game, even recommended it to my own father. As I was playing, an awkward error code pop-up as a notification. I am not really sure how it was triggered. Perhaps in the attached screenshot with the information that was provided, a solution can be found to this issue. Thanks!

Thanks for the praise! I got the issue too, but it's a control point I left by error, it should not trigger in the client version unless you are with DEBUGMODE 1 in USER.TXT and somehow I doubt you are, so it's weird indeed.

At game start the province of Paris got two identical buildings "Levy Camps". This is probably related to the random building generation.

You can have 3 Levies camps per region actually (indicated in the description).

For some reasons France start the game with a very high relationship with Rus' (50), higher then what it have with the other french factions, which sounds a bit wierd. This happens in every game.

It comes from the initial royal marriage they historically had.

The relationship between France and the Rus' of Kiev in the 11th century was primarily shaped by the marriage of King Henri I of France and Anne of Kiev in 1051. Anne was the daughter of Yaroslav the Wise, the Grand Prince of Kiev, and her marriage to the French king created a political and diplomatic alliance between Western Europe and the far eastern Slavic state of the Rus'.

For no reason England makes loads of units and fleets in Kent area? No reason to.

These English units are formerly East Anglian units, your vassal, set on giving units (Policy: Full Call). Checking their economy, they are still very wealthy, so will continue to do so until you switch their vassal policy to Partial Call (or if they no longer have the economy to produce them).

Playing Scotland on easy. cpnquered both minor provinces one military another through decision. When I finally got a claim on Sutherland, waging a war doesnt seem to count that claim into cost (-8 penalty still listed)

Correct, thanks, it has been fixed for the next patch!

I am playing Byzants and I reached 140 regions which the game claims I need to evolve my government but it has not happened for two turns now. I tried to send a report through the ingame bug report but it said that it did not send so I am trying here.

I still have the cost explosion bug, down from 10500 gold to 3000 in 10 turns. No war, no special expenses, just the court costs exploded to 9500 gold per turn.

If it's single-player and it 'just happened,' send me the current turn and all backups so I can see the evolution and understand why. Send the archive to support@slitherine.co.uk, reference this thread, and say it's for Pocus.
