I am sure it's possible, but currently I am only familiar enough with Panzer Corps modding and have only this to mod right now. I don't have much time as I did before so I wouldn't port it at all most probably to a game I do not know.
However thank you for the unit sprites, they are much appreciated and could expand the United Nations campaign well.

Just to let everyone know, these past few months I have been inactive, and the laptop that could run Panzer Corps has a piece of hardware that is broken which darkens my display to the point its practically fully black, and I didn't have the time to fix it.
Hopefully in the coming months I can replace that part to extend its life for a bit before looking into getting a computer as soon I will have the space and hopefully money for one.
I tried playing Panzer Corps on my second laptop and it was very laggy and slow, so until then, the mod is on hold.
TL:DR my laptop is broken and couldnt, and still cant, mod nor play the game for a while

That's sad.
Well, at least, it's not your hard drive that was damaged ; your mod (and certainly many other personnal important files) is safe and you will resume working on it some day ! Always looking the bright side.

Welp I should announce that I have continued work on this mod.
I have tinkered a bit with how to approach the scenarios inside of the campaign to make it more fluid and enjoyable with different challanges inside the campaign and between the campaigns, with already specific ideas for the new campaigns I intend to make. I have been busy with playing D2R, but with the release of 2.05 I will make the addon mod compatible with it as well as release much more content.

I have done a lot of work today.
I have started working on 1 campaign, but moved on to a different one as I got more interested in it. I have quite a lot of ideas which I will be working on and which will span from rough classic combat of the pre 2000s and even "very" Modern combat. For now I have finished a while ago the eqp file to be compatible with 2.05.
Today I have finished 80% of the unit roster for one nation in the new campaign I am set to make. The hint for the campaign is the song Running in the 90s. I will show the results once I flesh it out. You will work with gear not familiar with you before, and some gear which you have already fought with and against in the Vanilla campaign. All in all I recently had a spur of motivation for working on this mod.

Now that I am home, I'd like to announce the campaign I am working on I call Blood and Steel. It will be based around the War in Bosnia, which will follow the historical path to some extent, but mostly will be alternate history, as in battles and the campaign direction won't be like in real life. These are just a few redesigned or added units, with others not shown. I have done a patchy job with the T-34 tinkering with some colour options on my photo editing app on my PC. You can see a Bosnian T-34, Grad, Guards, Gvozdika, Police and Bofors AA Gun.
The campaign after it will be the Russian Civil War. I have already started it but got more motivated on this one.

I don't have a date for the release and I work on it when I am not on my job and don't have any other obligations. I just need to crack on how the campaign file works as I have had some issues with it as I couldn't get it to work, but aside from that it is free sailing, making scenarios and testing it. So the answer is no idea, in the meantime you might see some unique characteristics to the units if you take a closer look at my screenshots.

This is great to see! The Bosnian wars aren't very explored in video games so it's a great 1st campaign!

I have quickly check :
- Open the equipment file of the sub-mod (not vanilla game or main MC mod);
- Find E8, you can read "0,1,2,4,5,6" inside;
- replace all the values by just one "21".
I have not tested, but it should work.
I strongly advise you to keep a copy of the equipment file unmodified somewhere, so that you can put it back again in its place if it don't work.
Edit: There is one last thing to do. Open each map on the scenario editor.
In edit ---> Scenario Params ---> Nations : put Ukraine as "Axis".
Make sure that each scenario have Ukraine in Axis side, and you should be good
I'm not sure that the campaign is balanced like that: you can modify the starting date of the ukrainian units in the "equipement" file to be sure your vehicles have a chance against what the ennemy send at you
I think that Akkula and Rimski created their equipment file to have balanced campaigns, but Ukraine was certainly not thought to have its own. it could be wise to experiment a bit with starting date.
Edit if someone want to made the same change in the future and find this post.
I was talking about the campaign file in this post, not the equipment one. I was certainly tired...
You also have to unload the mod from JGSME, modify its files, then reload it to apply your changes.

the scenario paras already had ukraine on axis
nothing seems to change on the core nations, so it doesnt seem to be applying..

Yes. Akkula (and Rimski, since he re-use the same) modified the vanilla campaign file to replace original content by his. If you look at line 38, you see that "Barbarossa" campaign lead you, in fact, to "Nato01" scenario.
Edit: I've misread. Yes, it's the campaign file, sorry...
Plus, value "0" on E8 means Germany; "1" for UK; "2" for the US ; etc...
So yeah, that's definitively here that you need to make your change.
I've check the equipment file, it appears that the correct value for Ukraine is indeed 21; so you need "21" in E8 in the campaign file.
So, after verification, I don't think that I made any mistake.
I suggest you to unload both mods (Rimski sub-mod then MC itself), modify E8 values by just "21", load again MC, then Rimski's submod.
I don't understand well how work JSGME, but it seems that any modification you do to the loaded mod will not be taken into account until you unload and reload it.
Tell us if it works !
