I have now heard from everyone who was "flagged" by the first Time Control check. Everything is OK and we have no-one just sitting in the tournament doing nothing. So carry on everyone and enjoy yourselves. The second Time Control check will be in a fortnight's time (14/3) and for this one players will need to have completed 3 matches in each section they have entered, except for those playing in High Middle Ages who will need to have provided one result by then. Now that the First Time Control check is over players may automatically claim matches where 7 days have passed without a move from an opponent without any explanation having been given.

My thanks to everyone who has responded to my enquiries during this Time Control check.
