Hi all.
Rob123 convinced me to join the Digital League. I'm french and all these post lost me a little.

I want to play biblical period if it s possible.
So, it seems that all tournaments have already begun.
You can count me for next one.
If I understand, players concerned set games, it is not automatic. Am I right?
Thank you
Hello Burgot,
Yes, there is unlikely to be any places available now as we have lots of reserves already. But I will add you to the invitation list for Season 10, which will start on February 1st 2021. And yes, players set up their own games in the Digital League. Try to get some multi-player practice and think about which armies you might like to use in the tournament after Xmas.

Division F
Conteshard Byzantine 493-550 AD beats TomoeGozen Kingdom of Soissons 461-486 AD with Germanic Foot Tribe 260-599 AD allies 57-28
a great and tense battle: byzantine infantry succedded in containing the warbands impetus long enough for the cavalry to get in the game, but it was touch and go till the end.

Division B
SLancaster (Roman 199-106 BC with Greek 227-146 BC allies) defeated Trogilus (Syracusan 280-211 BC with Carthaginian 235-146 BC allies). 43-12.
A tough game against a good opponent. Some shuffling around and then we committed midway through the battle. Best of luck in your next games!

A lucky pursuit by a Bosporan lancer following a routing skirmisher snaked through a gap to get behind the Roman line ... otherwise the Lancers will still be bouncing off the legion!

by Aetius39
Division D
Aetius39 (Bosporan) defeats Warg1 (Scots/Irish) 41-14
The Bosporans were outnumbered but lucky enough to be near a long hill, otherwise they would have positioned themselves against a side to protect their flank against the more numerous Scots/Irish. In the opinion of the Bosporan commander, the fact they had more lights helped early on, as they kept the Scots/Irish ones at bay and inflicted heavy casualties on the lighter armed enemy. The way the Bosporans were positioned, the Scots/Irish could not outflank, and so going head to head with a stronger line eventually started breaking the less well-equipped enemy, although there was always a danger of getting ganged up on early on and overwhelmed. A harder game to play then the score suggests, thanks Warg for the game!
