I've done my homework !
NATO Campaign - DONE
My favorite campaign : from every panzer corps mod, or old panzer general games or in any other games. No less.
One of my favorite part in those games is to create my own army. In panzer corps, I generally divide my army into smaller divisions/brigades/batallions and deploy them together, so that every group has its own function. In NATO campaign, every "subdivision" is from the same country, and that open large replayability for me.
Sometimes I create large independant "brigades" of 10 units : 3 armored ; 2 infantry ; 1 AT infantry ; 2 arty ; etc ... where every brigade has it's own strengh according to units stat. French one has very good infantry and arty and usually go directly into big cities to clear them ; US has good Abrams all along the campaign and quickly have marines with river crossing vehicles : perfect for open terrain with rivers ; British Challengers are fast and strong, they can cover large distance on the flank while below average infantry (good British infantry arrive later) can slowly take small cities on the way ; ...
Sometimes I create smaller specialized batallions (3-5 units) from units from the same country : Motorized infantry btn with 2 inf units, 1 AT and 2 arties ; Armored btn with 3 armor, 1 IFV/AFV and 1 armored recon vehicles ; support btn with 1 engineer, 1 bridge unit, 2 arties (yeah, in fact, I have designed this btn just to spam HIMARS

) ; air assault btn with 2 para units and 1 light vehicles ...
So, I have many options for my army composition : I find it extremely enjoyable ! I have done this campaign 3 times, and I'm still OK for a 4th roll.
Plus, the campaign send you everywhere with a good mix of "classical" ground scenarios and amphibious one : Belarus ; Crimea ; deep into Russia ; Kola peninsula ; ...
There are still few scenarios that I find badly balanced IMO. I don't remind the name : I had to reach a city held by the British, but I always had mud and rain, so I can't technically not even reach them or support them in time. The next try, weather was mostly good so I was able to save them ; but if the RNG dosn't want the player to win, he can't.
Excellent campaign.
Russian campaign : DONE
Very good with interesting scenarios. Most are as cool as in NATO campaign, but... I have less diverse btn to create
I find it a little bit less polished sometimes. For example, there is a mission where I'm attacked by Lettonian troops at the beginning : they had the old canadian flags from vanilla panzer corps when my mouse go over them. In a mission, I have a message telling me that I have unlocked some units ; yet they are still not available for the next few scenarii. Unfortunately, I have not taken notes to tell you when it was :/
Very cool.
Syrian campaign : DONE
Going into "sand" scenarios was a nice change. Unfortunately, I found it quickly boring. Other campaigns achieve to have a good mix of different scenarios so you never feel to do the same things. Unfortunately, it was quickly my feeling with this one. Still good moments : when russian reinforcment arrive with it's large air force ; the siege battle where you have to hold the airport to keep your army supplied ; ...
Still a very good campaign in itself with many good scenarios, but the player stay too long in the same kind of missions.
And I found "suicide units" not enjoyable to fight. Not dangerous in themselves, but very annoying to destroy. I had to allocate as more time and units to counter only two suicide units than to counter a major offensive on another front.
A good point over the 2 others campaigns was it was interesting to have a little summary of every major battles of this war. As usual, Akkula kept his neutral position (like the original pz corps game) even with near events that can be very controversial. I have seen mods (or full games) that fail that, so I have to notice that.
I hope a 4th campaign is on the way. You seemed interested about High Karabagh or expanding your WWIII storyline.
And yes : what happenned in the Balkans during the war ? What is doing Turkey ? How Belarus hold it's ground while the russian player is busy elsewhere ? Or, as other players sugested : did asian countries join the party ?
To others players, instead of asking Akkula new content : we can also create ours

. We have so many modern units to use now ... too much for a man alone
I can't wait turkish units for mine
