Significantly revised infantry, especially late grenadiers -> greatly increased HA according to the available weapons (PIAT = 8, Bazooka = 12, Panzerschrek = 15, Panzerfaust = 24); introduced light division type for Axis minors -> less manpower (10 instead of 15) but better mobility (Leg-special movement type and +1 initiative) with possibility to use trucks (general infantry is only foot or train transported).

Also there are some unique units given (non-purchasable) for playing through Wehrmacht campaign: Flieger, Sturm, SdKfz-8/Pak-18.

Several tiny additions: Panzer-I gets armor-piercing switch (special ammo) -> HA = 1 but INIT = 0 comparing with basic HA = 0 / INIT = 3; flame tank's stats corrected + KHT-27 (soviet T-27) and Wasp added to roster.

Major update, key moments:

— Ship's stats revisited. There is slight difference between nations althrough the main change is that battleships become much stronger than cruisers (both attack and deffence) and naval battles are going more intensively in general now.

— Improvement of maps in a way of fixing historical and geographical mistakes continues. This time the main focus was on Belarus (mostly), Moscow and Greece maps. Brest Fortress has been moved to north, several high- and railways in Moscow region added, AI-units behavior enchanced, etc.
Also Early Barbarossa (starting at 15th May 1941) is available by Decisive-Victory in SeaLion-40

— SMG infantry (including paratroopers) becomes kinda subtype of an infantry class. It has HA=0 but RoF=20/30

It’s great that they focused on the Navy—otherwise, it was sometimes pretty funny to see how a small boat with a machine gun could damage a massive battleship )))

There's also another minor change comparing to original game: artillery GD is not hardcoded to 2 anymore but depends of gun's shield model/size. For example, 15cm sFH-18 is still having GD=2 (cause shield is simply absent) but 122mm M-30 has GD=4, 152mm M-10 has GD=5, etc. (similar to AT-guns class).

My attempt to create a mix (or sub?) Ultimate + BE 2.5 mod
Currently an alpha version, only Poland and Norway scenes are available.
Install Ultimate mod with JGSME as usual and then place unpacked attachement in MyDocuments/PanzerCorps/Mods folder. Press New Game, select right-bottom icon Custom Campaings and scroll down to Early Blitzkriegs

Beta version is ready. Requires upgrade of Ultimate mod + efx part of hotfix. 4 pre-global scenarios available (Poland, Norway, France, Balkans).
Main changes: recalculated (decreased) aircrafts flight distances and artillery + ships ranges of fire. Also watch for cavalry as the mounted mode has HA=0 now.
