I'd join the Themed Event for the horse boys. As you say, they don't get enough love.
Yes, and I do think we have a few horse archer specialists who might like this. I am thinking of players like Karvon, Challenge1, lydianed and Nijis. We will only need 12.
Appreciate the mention as a specialist Pete but my record with the Huns 0-5-4 did not engender much love from my side!

My thanks to Anders (hidde) for doing these ratings so quickly. The big news is that ianiow is rated two places behind harveylh now so will be ahead of him in the line when the camels are handed out!

I'm very happy I won't be tempted. I have discovered I am allergic to camels. Ian or preferably someone else can have them.
harveylh, a.k.a. the camel thief

My philosophy at being near the bottom....
In 1962(Yipes!) I was admitted to the then free Brooklyn College of the City University of New York; at the entrance interview with my counselor, he informed me that I was in the bottom 1% of all students they admitted. My reply was "someone's got to be at the bottom, and I'm here!"
Still applies today....

hey....if a strategy works, just keep doin' it! and it has the bonus of keeping that Ego fellow in his proper place. Sadly, mine bruises a bit easier.

Will the rules be the same as for season 7? If so, does the themed event count as one of the four sections you can enter, or is it in addition?

Yes, I do not envisage any changes for Season 8. The Themed Event counts as one of the four sections.

I would definitely like a punt with these Pete.
I am confident I can be equally consistently ham-fisted with the horse archers.

OK, well it sounds like there is a bit of interest in the Avars, so this is now confirmed for Season 8 of the Themed Event.

Hi Stockwellpete...I'm back from an 8 year hiatus from FOG. I've played a few games and would like to get back into some league play...How could I get involved?

Hi,
are you willing to accept new players as well?
I am in the learning process and I should be a little more expert on Monday June 1st
Can't wait to learn in the hard way!
