Gribol “the Ogre” crushed the Austrian defenders of Mecklenburg 45:13 in a brutal frontal attack!

After a painful retreat carried out under incessant rain and amid the insults of the peasants of the villages burned by the enemy, what remains of the Austrian army defeated by the Hanoverian Ogre entrenched itself in the fortifications of Mecklenburg, trying to save at least part of the province from enemy occupation. The commander of the ill-fated expedition was immediately arrested on charges of intelligence with the enemy and now ponders the changing fortunes of men in a cell with some thieves and murderers. In his place, an old officer whose most brilliant talent is that of being the lover of the Emperor's sister was appointed general.
May God have mercy on the Habsburg Crown!

Hi Generals!
Any news from the battlefield in Lorraine?

Equal points on a narrow front has proved to be a poor selection; a largely, musketry slugging match in a forest clearing. Still plenty of turns and plenty of uncommitted reserves.
Bavarian right flank
(my Grenadiers on the map edge have since routed).

Interesting matchup.
The hope is that the Bavarians will be able to stop the Hanoverian steamroller ...

For 35,000 Thalers your Mama can be a steamroller.

The order for the 4th turn is now the following:
BAVARIA, ANGLO-HANOVERIAN, AUSTRIA
(and Gentlemen stay tuned, 'cause a new campaign with a lot of new actions, more provinces, strategic decisions, great battles and fun is being tested and will be soon released!)

Much as I think Major Attacks unsporting I see little option but to break out the big club to end this assault on peace and prosperity.
My deepest and heartfelt apologies to the Lorrainians who must bear this burden of war for all of free Europe.
Bavarian turn 5
- Taxation
- Major Attack, Open Battle, Baden to Lorraine.

There is nothing to worry about, there is no one left to pity in Lorraine, because all the adult inhabitants have joined the Hanoverian Army and are now fighting for me!
So, after taxing what could still be taxed, we expect a major counterattack from Lorraine to Baden. No one will be safe in their illusory fortress!
(Taxation, Major Attack from Lorraine to Baden, open battle)
