Hi, i want to congratulate you Robotron for this amazing mod you made and to thank you for keeping improving it. You made the game a very enjoyable challenge, thank you!
About the ammo transfer limit... could a % cap on the giver nation be feasible? I think that would make sense.

I wanna join this transfer ammo discussion by saying that IMO it should be put a limit to the amount of ammo and PP's that can be transferred. As it is now, it can be quite a decisive factor, indeed.
In other things, tuning down Russian supply crisis effects has worked and now Russians are able to deal with it in better terms. Before, it was a bit harsh.
Armoured units limits could be another possible modification. Tanks weren't employed massively in WW1.
Finally, a guy has commented that would be convenient that France 1914 OOB would count with a Corps unit and I sort of agree to this. Referred unit could be deployed in Reims or in Paris. Right now, it's true that the French really struggle a bit to stop the Germans, when Belgium is overrun and the bulk of the French army is still in the border.

@hnox: you must have loaded a savegame played on an older version (V1.66a) into the latest one which is (V1.66b). Unfortunately this will lead to problems as seen here.
@all: I've reverted the PP/AM transfer limit back to 10. If players want to transfer more per turn they must invest additional rail/transport move capacity. Since buying extra rail/transport is much less expensive now this seems a good compromise to me.

And here it is: V7.0 ... the version that is meant to be stable in multiplayer.
Of course it would be of great help if players would give this a few test runs in singleplayer before we embark on MP testing.

At the Diplomacy tab, it seems that when you select CHOOSE EVENT, your Diplo budget dips by 6 pts or more, even if you CHOOSE NONE. That is, it seems you expend Diplo budget pts even just to take a peek at the available options, without in fact choosing anything. This has happened to me several times now.
Is this a feature or a bug?

a long time ago discussed feature, its spending your diplo points to influence some minor nations attitude

@berto: works as intended. The events are drawn randomly from a pool of available events.
If choosing none would NOT cost any points then players would be able to try as many times as they like until they get the desired event.
"Taking a peek" is not intended, you are meant to make a hard decision whether to invest in randomly drawn events or influence/intel.
Your invested points are however not entirely wasted:

Downloading 7.0 for a round of singleplayer testing.
Anyone has tips on how to beat france using the Schlieffen plan? I am able to beat the Entente using Aufmarsch Ost and Plan Rupprecht, but can't seem to beat the French before the English ship army corps to the continent.

Thanks for reporting, this was bound to happen since so many edits were made for V7, I'll upload the fix in a minute.

Since GoogleDrive has decided to behave like a total b*tch again, canceling any upload for reasons unknown, I've uploaded the new version to zippyshare this time:

schlieffen is the fastest way to break france/entente
if belgians yields, its hyperdrive fast
ignore antwerp and move as fast and as close to paris as possible, german armies are like invincible in the begining

And again: thank you for playtesting.
Because of the possibility of such little oversights (in this case a small typo) I've advised that players give V7 at least a test run in singleplayer mode before embarking on the multiplayer stuff.
Yeah, I know it's annoying to have all those bugs occur but you have to remember that the "development team" for this mod is made up of a single person with the only help of YOU, the players who enjoy this mod.

Convoy questions

Hi. I need some advice.
I'm having a hard time with British convoys. I'm unable to protect them. Even if I completely surround them with 6 other ships leaving no empty hex at the transport ZOC, submarines reach and sunk them.
It's not the stormy seas event, neither the transport automatic movement.
It only happens with convoys, not troop transports. It seems to me there are invisible scripted subs, no real counters but just dice rolls. Attacks happen even in Souht Atlantic and Canada coastal waters, just upon spawn. Of course there's also the occasional real sub, but that's OK.
So, question to other players: what do you do to protect your convoy ships? Is there any valid strategy to protect your convoys other than defeat Germany and conquest Berlin

?
Thanks!
