Looks better Triarius. In fact back in the beta stage I suggested the exact same idea but ian didn't like it because he felt the scores were too low. It at least resolves the issue of byes but unfortunately doesn't handle draws. It also rewards players who recieve easy match-ups as the old table does (though I think this is not such an issue for the majority of players) and can't cope with people who throw in the towel (an issue which I find isn't relevant in face to face tournaments played across a day).

I really like this with Triarius's adjustments. Personally I'm not bothered by the win/lose draw impact on the individual games..especially as some of the scenarios are fairly one sided. In reality a win in FOG terms is just a threshold crossed in terms of enemy units destroyed. I think these tournaments do a good job of testing relative performance over the reverse games and over the course of the tournament, now with Triarius's adjustments that remove the distortions, I think provides for an interesting competition. My one gripe would be the rematches that occured. davouthojo v eric back to back was a little unfair on both parties. Would definitely like to see duplicate matches avoided. There will still be issues with players drawing good players throughout but maybe that can only be dealt with once we have some ranking system in place.
