I already had 16GB DDR4 Ram.
Now I have ordered 2* 16 DDR4 Ram as a kid.
So it's 32GB, I hope that will be enough for now.

Hello, to avoid problems with the elite objective in the Lille scenario of AO 1940, I have changed its requirements in this new version.
Now for the elite objective it is necessary to destroy at least 150 French units from their starting lineup, therefore not including for example the spawning aircraft
09Lille.rar
Excellent. Many thanks.

Hello Andrea 69,
I've now almost completed the Lille Scenario for the second time with your patch.
It triggers a message after destroying 150 French units?!, but it isn't displayed and there is no reward either?

Hello, after destroying the needed 150 French units you should see the elite objective accomplishment message with the reward that you are getting. If you destroyed the units and the message does not appear, there is a problem

exactly.
that's what I'm trying to explain to you.
at first I had the same problem as Garp.
after that I installed your update and it's as described, I destroy the 150 fr. unit and a message comes up with no content/text, and I don't get the reward either.

Hello, sorry I did not understand well your words
Anyway I found the bug, a very stupid typo in the elite objective section of the LUA. Here you have the fix, just replace the file and should be all ok, but for this to be effective you'll have to replay starting from the last save of the previous scenario

Thank you very much.
But at the moment it is hard to play Lille for a third time.

Yep, guess you can safely skip the prize for the elite objective (20 CharB1, 25 SomuaS35, 30 AMC35 and 17 15cmNblwf41)

The new and improved 1940 deserves some compliments. Every scenario you touch is significantly improved.

Thanks, I think the improvements for AO41 will be even more noticeable, but I'll still need some time to fully update the campaign

Yep.
It's just fun to complete all the elite quests.
I'll catch up.
It doesn't affect the rest of the campaign, does it?

No problem for the campaign, I wouldn't replay it for the third time either unless there was a hero involved or a nice gift unit

I started a new 1941 campaign and it happens to me that the enemy units do not move to attack, if they attack you if you position yourself next to them. Does anyone know anything?

Hello, well it depends on the stance they are ordered to have, in general the units guarding victory or bonus objectives or even key tactical positions (like hills) as well as their supporting units (like arty or air defense) are ordered to hold their position shooting only at adjacent enemies... the reason is to preserve their entrenchment, so killing them will be more difficult for the player

For unknown reasons the AI scripting of the game can break. If that behavior is on other maps too, the only solution i found so far is a complete fresh install of the game. Luckily it happens rarely(so far, to me at least).

Afair it worked for me to restart the computer and load the last save of the last working scenario.
I had this bug a few times, but I think I never reinstalled the game. But nowadays its no real problem to reinstall a whole game, just but clicking two buttons

Indeed, and after trying everything, I reinstalled and it worked correctly, thank you.

Hello,
The new revision for AO41 East is available at this link:
https://easyupload.io/40f4po
The package includes also the updated Data and Portraits directories and the little fixes for AO39/40 mentioned in the changelog:
V. 1.4
- Major update for the equipment file (units.csv)
- Fixed the Vltava string name in Czechoslovakia (AO 1939)
- Changed name of Totenkopfverbande aux units in Arras (AO 1940) to Totenkopf Division
- Slightly changed the elite objective in Lille (AO 1940); now you have to destroy at least 150 French units from their starting lineup
- Fixed a typo in Valona LUA (AO 1940)
- New revision for AO 1941 East
For a more detailed changelog you can have a look at
