If a frag'd friendly BG breaks its oppnent, does it pursue?
1) Must take a CMT and if succeeds pursues?
2) Auto pursue as the CMT reference refers to moves.
3) Cannot pursue?

p101 (pursuit) and p114(fragmented) don't vary the normal pursuit rule.

Yep Dan they pursue. All unbroken troops do.

Thank you. I believe so and ruled so. But since it was my game I was challenged and thought I would double check.

Yes indeed the opposing rout was viewed by us to give them at least a temporary fluch of courage...

Yes, this happened to me. I had a very surprised and fragged opponent of MF who destroyed my elephants and so pursued into some Light Cav who were behind. Interestingly the Light Cav had to test for being charged even though:
1 - Light Cav wouldn't have to test to charge Fragged; and,
2 - Fragged cannot charge.
It's just one of those weird things that happen in war.
The Light Cav managed to 'stand' against the charge and cut the MF to pieces
