Anyone know how to check what difficulty you are currently playing on? I've forgotten.

Hmm, if it's Major you'll have free elite reinforcements during deployment (I think), and on FM and Generalissimus the AI gets an accuracy bonus so you can easily see that in the combat log, but other than that I'm not sure. Worst case scenario it should be possible to open your current scenario in the editor, check the prestige per turn you're supposed to receive and compare it with what you're actually getting -- the percentage of it will tell you which difficulty setting you have, e.g., on General you get a 30% penalty so if the scenario says 100 and you're getting 70 then you're on General.

When loading a save file, the difficulty setting is highlighted at the bottom of the save file list.

To review your character traits, mouse over your faction icon in the top right corner of the screen during gameplay.

Err , I know this question has already been asked 500 times , but why let a , " Quick Question " - thread go to waste ?

How do you access the combat log in the game ?

I really , really need to start making use of that feature ! First , because I simply love the statistics ! Second , because I really need some idea of how my AA gun choices are actually performing , and how Italian equipment performs under various conditions !

The default key for the combat log is l (L).
