Technical problem

I am playing Battle Academy 1 online on an IPad. One game is stuck in my turn but I can't open it. How can I either delete it or update it? I have tried to abandon it but this doesn't work either. Other games continue to work fine. Now you are threatening to cut me off from the server, which seems harsh! Please help.
