Triple Drop of cohesion?

Last night, during a DL battle, I had my C-in-C (an average, armoured cavalry unit) seemingly triple drop when backing up away from an enemy unit.
I am sure that the unit was steady when he backed up, and the unit was at full strength (240/240) and so cannot have been disrupted or fragemented as a result of shooting, impact or melee, and hadn't been in combat at any point in any case. I don't recall him having backed up previously, either.
So a steady unit, backing up, immediately routed. Is this possible?
Best Wishes
Mike

Absolutely not.
The maximum drop that can ever occur from a single Cohesion Test is 2 levels.

And so if this has happened it needs to be investiagted, as it indicates a bug?

If it really happened it would.
However, there is no code in the Cohesion Test code that could ever give more than two drops. The value of the "drop" variable is either 2 or 1.
I am confident enough in this particular section of code not to investigate further without actual proof. (Before and after screenshots).
I suspect that the unit was already Disrupted and you had not noticed. It could have become disrupted without any casualties by seeing a friendly unit rout or a general fall.

Yes, it is not beyond possibility that the unit had been disrupted by some non-combat related cause, but that I hadn't noticed. I just felt sure at the time that I would have noticed that, but I am capable of being unobservant at times. Such a pity I lacked the presience for a screenshot before the fact.
Thanks for your comments, Richard.
