Per the Slitherine download, the 'Slow Modernization Trait' is missing.
Spent 2 hours 'dl' & another hour installing to find this out.
Very disappointing.

I'm frustrated as much as you, but unfortunately such things happen. I attach the correct file, all you need to do is overwrite PanzerCorps2/Content/Data/Rules.json file with the version from this archive.

I was just getting ready to post the 'fix', which was to swap out the Slitherine Rules file with the Steam Rules file.
Sorry for sounding a bit annoyed & thank you for your quick response & a great patch.
btw, why is the Steam Update appearing to be around 100 mb & the Slitherine Update over 3gb?
I am sure there is a good reason, just asking.
Anyway, thank you again.
I should note for those that keep their 'Slitherine Install Files' they need to, also, keep the 'Hotfix 1.1b files' which does not come with the 1.03 Install.
As you cannot download it on the Member's Section.

I don't know why exactly Steam updates are so much smaller, but my guess is that Slitherine patches include all files which changed, while Steam is able to detect which parts of the files exactly are different, and only download those differences. Considering how many people download from Steam, efficient use of available bandwidth must be a top priority for them, and they must have implemented some very smart optimizations to the process. So, you end up with the same game files, but with Steam it takes less traffic.
As for your last remark, I thought that Slitherine patches were cumulative, and you only needed the last one? Not sure though.

Steam automatically updates the game so updates are incremental and can be smaller.
Slitherline does a full update that will update the initial release so requires all the updates in a single package.
If you pay attention, you may notice Steam updating itself multiple times in a single session when you start it up.

I am aware of Steam doing this, but in this case I don't think it applies as this patch was just released & I had to click to update the Steam version.
Which, btw, was very quick.

The Slitherine Member's Section downloads are notoriously slow, particularly when over 1gb, though I am glad it works.
In any event, all is well & thanks for the input.

What you say about Steam updates is interesting, I certainly have no clue about this.

I tried running the game without the '1.1b Hotfix' after updating (just curious) & received an error, replaced the 'Hotfix file' & all was/is well.

I updated V1.0.9 with the new patch and it works fine.
No V1.1 update, nor the hotFix.
I have both Steam and Slitherline versions on my computer.

Ok, so what is 1.0.9?
That is not a version I see in the Members download section.
I have Update v01.01.01 & Installer v1.00.03.
Very interesting.

Yes, I saw that on the Steam page.
The 1.01b patch for the Slitherine version was not an install patch, but an 'applied patch' (which was not available in the Member's Section & had to be placed in the PanzerCorps2/Binaries/Win64) which was not clear to me at the time; a few others had the same...problem.
Rudankort, eventually, cleared it up for us that were having issues.
