1. When I go to build something, it shows an 'Infrastructure Cost: 50' for example. What is that cost? Money to build? Some other sort of infrastructure amount? If so, from where?

2. When I go to build 'Celtic Craftsman' for example, it shows a change of: Infrastructure +4. Is that 4 additional building slots? Or some sort of infrastructure amount that I have yet to discover about?

(Oh to remember when I did my first post!) ;)

Your region creates food from farms and various buildings. But it also creates 'infrastructure' points, if you will, from various buildings (or even population working in that section). The more infrastructure producing buildings you have, the more you create each turn.

A cost of '50' means your pops and such need to create 50 to build it. Once built, that Celtic Craftsman will produce now 4 additional (in addition to what you were making) infrastructure points.

(I never did get to be a humble truck driver. Anyone out there remember what the symbols use to be? No physical prize for the correct answer but a nod from an ancient soul.) :)

Each region has a positive or negative amount of infrastructure points alloted each turn. When you put more citizens and slaves into the infrastructure slot the amount gets higher. When you build a certain building this yearly amount of infrastructure is used to build it. If you have 20 points of yearly infrasrteucture you will spend 3 turns to build it if the region has 0 points of infrastructure from the time you start the building. Think of it as an abstract capability of stuff being built - the higher the number the sooner stuff is completed.
