Before V1.3 I always wondered why I lost certain regions after a peace treaty. In 1.3 all regions that are striped do they go back to their original owner after a peace deal is made? Which brings me to another question, why is this so, I should be able to negotiate what spoils I have won to broker a deal? When making a peace you can demand certain regions and provinces and the deal is accepted, but once peace happens, all regions are returned to the original owner. With this in mind it is not worth entering into peace negotiations with established nations.

You have to request the regions you want in the peace deal. Anything that has not agreed on (striped) will go back to its previos owner.

Take a good look at the peace treaty dialogue. There must be something in the big top windows. If there is nothing you get nothing.
