Hello, all,

This question came up after several open battle multiplayer skirmish games in Pike and Shot Campaigns between myself and a friend: How can you tell what side of the map you are starting on in a multiplayer skirmish (open battle) game? Specifically, I'm talking about when you're in the force selection screen, prior to deployment, and the map is visible (if not yet accessable).

Is the map orientation during force selection the same for both the initiator of the challenge and the opponent, or is it specific to each?

I can't find any reference to this in the rules or in the forum, which I find a head scratcher. Any information would be appreciated.

The person who sets up the game deploys at the bottom facing up the page. The person who joins the game starts at the top facing down the page.
