So, I was having a restless night once the kids were in bed and decided to jump on steam. I was like "Aww shit yeahh lets get into some Sengoku Jidai, Pike & Shotte, and Field of Glory!"

I began my delve into the games and was having a good time but the thought struck me. "Does this play like the table top war game of the same name?" it's no secret that all of the games I listed above play the same with that table top feel. Wheeling your units, ZOCs, flank charges, etc. So I began to rub my beard in thought. "Do these video games take base off of actual table top rule sets? If they don't, I think Slitherine could be in the market to make some serious cash to publish table top rule sets off of these gems! I Would 100% purchase them to play with my miniatures.

Any thoughts or facts?

The games are already based on Tabletop rule sets published by Slitherine/Osprey.

Pike and Shot and Sengoku Jidai are based on the Field of Glory: Renaissance tabletop rules.
Field of Glory 2 is based on the Field of Glory: Ancient/Medieval rules.

I knew it had to be or something like that. It's just too smooth to be just a video game.
