Help with X% Capabilities?

Apologies if this is already posted elsewhere. I can’t find it.
Just looking to understand the mechanics and POA’s of the partial capabilities. Any help is appreciated!

Impact capabilities of 50% and above give you full capability, melee capabilities give you the listed percentage.

So what's the point of 50% Lancers if it gives you the full Impact POA but doesn't even have a melee POA? Seems like it functions exactly like regular Lancers...
Maybe I am misunderstanding your post.

Yes, 50% lancers fight exactly like 100%, it's mostly a flavour thing.

Okay thanks for the help!
Lastly I guess there's just 50% bow - I think I saw somewhere once it's not 50% damage compared to regular bow. Know how this is calculated?

I think it's something like 66% of full damage, but I'm not really sure about this one.
