SUGGESTION: Awards Ceremonies

"Thank you, Herr General, for bestowing this medal, however, if the Herr General could step slightly to the left, it would allow me to continue firing at the incoming enemy."

It is wonderful to receive an award, yet the feeling is somewhat spoiled by the positioning of the awards dialogue, which is currently centre screen. In this location, it continues to obscure vision of the rest of the action during the AI Turn, until it is dismissed. Dismissing can't take place quickly, as one wishes to understand which unit received the award, what it is, and where it happened. Also one wishes to bask in the glory a moment, yet one cannot linger, as seeing how the rest of the battle progresses is obscured.

Place the award to the left of the screen, not over the focus.

I agree, repositioning it would help a lot as I often have to click out of it without reading since the battle is ongoing and I want to see what is happening.

In PC1 the game just paused when your unit got an award during the AI turn - seems like the ideal fix to me!

Yours is a very elegant solution. I like it!

I'd love to take credit but I just pinched the idea from PC1
