Planes: "1-hex hop" update suggestion

In PC2, bombers and fighters hang motionless in the air after bombing/strafing their target.
That means they're blocking the hex for any other aircraft units that want to come in to hit the same target in the same turn.
Suggestion- give aircraft a free 1-hex movement "hop" after bombing/strafing so that they can hop to an adjacent hex to allow a second aircraft unit to come in, then a third and fourth etc in dramatic realistic "waves"..:)
(The Order of Battle game uses the "1-hex hop" feature and it works magnificently.)

So 7 planes could all attack the same target?

I don't like that idea - have never played OOB so I'm not sure how it works there. But in PC2 that would mean you can effectively delete almost any unit in one turn just by using your air force. I've always liked the one air attack per hex per turn mechanic even going back as far as the original PG.

If this change was considered I feel like there'd need to be a mass rebalance of airplane attack values to stop them becoming to OP but then risk them being useless unless in large numbers.

Bombers are already very powerful as it is, giving the option to attack multiple times over the same target in one turn seems just insane. You already can do that kind of with the phased movement hero on your planes and delete any tank with just two planes really, and that already feels silly.

2-Thumbs up for "Horseman" & "Gokkel":

I was just about to say the exact same thing!. In this Game that 'Trick' will not work out for proper combat results... "Otherwise a great-idea!".

Thanks guys, yes I think you're right, as what works for the Order of Battle game system might not work for PC2's..:)
