Great to see this release is just around the corner.

When do you expect we'll see the associated patch notes?

The Falcon is the symbol for Egypt. I would imagine a lot of chariot battles with Hittites and mysterious Sea Peoples. Perhaps some events for constructing the Pyramids similar to the one for the Colossus of Rhodes.

They should have put the notice out on "Mummy's Day".

According to Sir Richard Burton, the symbol on the Persian flag (Achaemenid dynasty) is a shahbaz, a mythical bird close to the falcon. Now, saying that 'Rising shahbaz DLC' is incoming would have been a bit more obscure to players

ps: The Shah word and title in Iran comes from the same word, 'Royal'

BTW Will existing MP and solo games be compatible with the new dlc?

I wonder if this means that Field of Glory 2 is also moving backwards for the next DLC..

FOG2 already has DLC for this era.

Right.. a poster above is talking about Hittites and the Sea Peoples.. which is what we would expect in the next FoG 2 DLC if it went backwards. Rise of Persia does have this period covered as you say.
