custom deployment is not.

For an AI game, choosing a custom force presents with many units on the field to remove one by one to make your custom force.
Just wondering if some bugs are in the Steam engine, or network transmission? I tried to set up a large and huge map game, and there was no deployment action possible, as it was in an earlier game I had with a medium map. Trying again, and deployment worked, although there were still units on the ground to rearrange.

Double-check that you've ticked the "Custom Army" box in "Advanced Options"
I just set up a Huge game as an experiment and I was able to disband all the 60 units and buy new ones.
However it was a boring time-consuming chore having to click each unit individually to disband them, so I'd like to suggest an idea to the Slith devs for a future update, namely if the 'Custom Army' box is ticked there should be NO friendly units on the map at the start, and we can be given a big dollop of purchase points and free slots to buy what we want..:)

The problem with disbanding units one by one is solved in the upcoming update.

Another problem with custom army is that in random battles the unit cap is 0 for the defender. As of such, he cannot buy new units when he disbands others in the deployment phase.

The idea of the Defence scenario type was that you hold with units which you start with, you cannot buy more. But of course, this conflicts with "custom army" setting. I'll probably disable this limitation for now, and see what to do with this later.
