suggested improvements to a great game

Love the game

The main thing I'd love is to be able to position my troops prior to the commencement of battles.

Also in MP when playing real time online I don't see why I need to click the forward arrow 3 x at different phases during the turn transition to keep the game moving forward. Surly I click end turn, opponent does same when he's ready and the rest happens automatically. Please fix !!

And a 3rd request : could the influence of decadence be adjusted -- say 3 setting. 1 as now, 2 50% less and 3 off completely ?

The game is all about balancing decadence with progress, decadence is its main specificity and selling point. Why would they add the possibility to remove it ?

To accommodate different player preferences. It's not something that I'd be interested in, but I understand why some people might prefer a more relaxed mpire-builder experience. I don't see why this game set up option couldn't be added to increase the game's appeal to a wider audience.

Decadence is too tightly ingrained in the game to slash it. What would you do, remove all the culture buildings too? And the culture row on the manpower assignment? Or just leave them dangling? Nope.

There is a Slower Progress and Decadence option in settings.

Yes the whole game is built around the decadence mechanic and, I mean, without it it would kinda become a map painter. I understand some people may like this but I doubt this is what the dev had in mind
