FYI Trade

As you can see, my total income is 6642 from Regional Commerce + 3622 from Citizen Taxation = 10,264.
Total income from Trade alone is a whopping 237, or only about 2% of my total income.
I've read a lot about how trade works, how you can make trade hubs and distribute bonus trade items. I didn't spend 2 minutes doing this in my Sarmatia campaign. So I'm getting killed, right? No, I'm on top. I have allies and client states and lots of military strength. So, IMHO, trade is just an interesting sub-routine of the real game.
