Rattenkrieg - Stalingrad Multiplayer Testing

I just created two MP matches for the MP version of my Stalingrad map I made recently. If you would like to test this map with me as either the Germans or Russians look for NETSCAPE and RATTENKRIEG.

Keep in mind this will be running as a test before releasing it to the community. Even if it needs more balancing with prestige, turn count or unit slots... I assure you it will be a blood bath!

I looked for these in the lobby, but did not see them.

hmm, well I just checked to see if others had taken the slots on the two matches I started... nope.

Just 1 turn , so far...a lot of units.

I will do another turn later today as life is getting in the way, atm.
BTW, one of the beauties of PBEM++ is the potential for a leisurely pace.
Though I do, tend, to play quickly most of the time.

NETSCAPE, I got an error per the 2nd game (my 1st turn).
I sent the report & had to exit via 'Task Manager'.
I reloaded & it shows as if I played the turn, so good luck with what you receive.

Everything seems to being working fine, just did my 2nd Turns. First turn I got to see all your animations, second turn unfortunately not... I only see the byproduct/end result of your advance.
I've been living on a farm. It's nice to play a multiplayer game that doesn't require a good ping. I'm going to try my best to do 1 turn a day.

Good. It's interesting to see how other people play the game. I can start 1 or 2 more games if you wanna test this scenario out as well.

Great news 'NETSCAPE', & I am no hurry per turns.

Just finished my turns with no upload problems.
BTW, you apparently put a lot of work into this scenario, well done.
Hopefully I am a decent guinea pig.

I have the exact same problem with official and random scenarios as well.
I ask in the bug sections what could it be but I had no answers unfortunately

Yeah I put in a fair amount of work into it, like naming all the villages.
It is interesting to play a human. When on the attack I tend to move a bit more cautious than you. On defense you're moving all your air units up to the front - I'm keeping mine in reserve for the defense of the City.
I had a thought. Rather than have the two Train Stations as objectives in the south I might run an experiment... I might potentially change the very southern city objective to "The Grain Elevator" - and put a bunker/strongpoint there to represent it...with like an absurd overstrength. Just a thought, we will continue this play through though so I have an idea of any issues that need to be addressed.

Not sure how much 'waiting' for the attack to come to me I can tolerate.

Yeah the soviet player being "bored" was a thought I had while converting from SP to MP. This is why I added all the T-34s in the MP version. So at least there is a brief tank duel before the city is reached - which started to take place on our last turn it appears.
It would require some LUA scripting which I have practically no experience doing, but another cool idea to add would be a "free" T-34 every X amount of turns that pops up in the tractor factory victory hex. This would be historically accurate and give the German player some real incentive to take that area as well as the Soviet player to defend it.

My recon in the south detected Soviets pushing out of the city. So a line was formed and a temporary defensive position established to repel the insane eddie counter-attack lol. You're gonna wish you had that 10/10 starting entrenchment I gave all the Soviets in Stalingrad...
At some point I will need someone to play defensively in the city. oh well I suppose any test is a good test. I'm having more causalities than playing the AI, that's for sure.

Stalin decided to give more than 1 bullet to each soldier, & then ordered them not to come back for anymore.

I just finished another turn. One of our games has rain it looked like when I ended my turn... it's summer so I put probability of clouds 20% and rain at 5%... interesting.

Turn 6 as Soviets. Raining, can't move any unit... bug I guess...

Per the rain as Germany, I could move all units except the aircraft.
The second game (Russia for me), I hit the 'L' key after completing my turn, game froze then went to the screen where you send an error report.
I did so, & the game closed.
I reloaded to a fresh set of turns.
Tried to duplicate what I could, did not hit the 'L' key this time & sent the turn.
Appeared to be ok, so we will see.
BTW, I guess the rivers are too wide to cross via the 'bridge boys'
