Suggestion: From firm to flee

I would like to suggest a change that would go along the same lines as the proposals to prevent the use of the rules, generating unlikely situations.
On many occasions, both I and other players send FIRM troops into combat knowing that they will lose. The objective is to delay the enemy, block it, etc. This is possible thanks to the fact that a FIRM unit cannot flee at one blow, with the exception that it is less than 50% casualties.
I propose that there is a small chance that a firm unit that suffers a very hard blow will flee. This possibility could be similar to the death of a general.
If this measure may seem too radical, I think it might work as well if it only worked for medium down quality troops. I also think that this could reduce the advantage of horde armies.
I also believe that this has a historical basis. Surely we all know examples of stories about very brief collisions, in which firm troops collapsed suddenly or at the moment of the collision.
