A question about DRM

Hí, I've seen Warhammer 40000: Gladius at this month's Humble Choice.

I planned to buy it at GoG because of being DRM-free in order to be able play over a LAN (instead of Hot-seat) with my family, but then I remembered some other games I've previously bought from Sitherine (namely Armageddon, Panzer Corps & Sanctum Reach), and they include the Key for obtaining a DRM-free Copy at this site.

Would it be the same case with Warhammer 40.000: Gladius? If it is, I'd be glad to buy it ASAP.

It is the steam version I believe with this: https://www.humblebundle.com/subscription/may-2020.

If you get it from the Slitherine site directly it will definitely include a standalone installer as well as a steam option.

Without trying it is hard to say whether the key humble gives you can register on the slitherine site (to get access to the stand alone installer). But steam is its own platform as is GoG.

That said Steam Keys bought directly from steam are generally speaking not going to be register-able on the slitherine/matrix site if that is what you are getting at.

You may want to wait for an official response but, the only certain way to get both the stand alone and a steam copy is going through slitherine's site directly. Most other third party storefronts either offer a steam only copy or a drm free copy that is compatible with their given platform (AKA GoG).

The steam version I believe supports LAN PvP and LAN Coop so whether or not you have the Steamworks DRM version or the DRM-free version it shouldn't effect that as far as I know.
