Hi!

I just try england. I didn't find the trinovantes who was the dominant tribes in UK. I didn't find also a tool to create state and rebuild my army. A state is an association of personns who want to live the same way. That's mean you can create a big state by involving the other to live your way. It have no tool to do it. All is like greco-roman basic thinking. Everyone is an ennemy and a good ennemy is a dead ennemy. So you build your state not in involving the population but by destroy them. Chinese society didn't work like that. Both way will work but...One is more solid than other...And we can,t play this way at the moment.

Hi

The Trinovantes were important during the 1st century BC, I didn't find any source mentioning them before and the game starts in 310 BC, so they prob are an emergent faction in the game (like Arachosia, Palmyrene or Parthia - though Parthia is scripted to appear on the map at some point)

I'm not sure to understand your part about states. There is an ethnicity system in the game, and populations of your nation that don't share your ethnicity generate less production and higher unrest. There are ways to convert them though, such as events or temples. Culture plays a huge role in the game
You can also use client states to control region that don't share you ethnicity, that is actually a very viable way for marginal regions you don't plan to conquer and I make a pretty extensive use of it

I think they started their recorded history with Bodicea revolt (or a bit earlier when they welcomed the Roman). Now, even if you have some sources showing their existence, unless they were a major player in Britain, circa 310 BCE, then they would still be shown as Celtic independent.
