I just discovered this new patch but I just ran into an issue. Artificer shows the correct cost, but when cast it costs the default amount of mana. Is this intended?

No, unfortunately that seems to be a new bug. Weird, it works fine in Caster of Magic and I used the exact same solution for the CP. I will have to investigate what causes this.

I'm getting a runtime error doing the fileset method, runtime error 002 at 0000 0188. I'm using the GOG version of the game, and I can't figure out what is going wrong.

002 is "file not found". You either mistyped the filename or they are not in the folder where you entered the command.
