Diplomacy - allies and client states

New diplomacy featuers is a great move forward for the whole Ageod system
I was wondering what can come next. Perhaps some changes in the way that alliances work?
Right now we have a situatioan where all members of alliance are equal and one is being brought to war by decision of some minor state.
I was thinking that perhaps there should be a possiilite of creating two types of alliances - equal/democratic where all members are equal and hegemonical alliances where there is one dominant power who can dictate others how to act.
One more thing - perhaps there should be something in beetwin being an indepdnet nation and being a client state. Some kind of satelite-minor state position that would reflect that one is dominated by other power yet keeps some level of freedom
In game terms it could be represented by resticting that kind of satalite state right to perform some actions ( like declaring war without permission of hegemon)
