Hi everyone,

got my first Map finished and ready for launch.

You can download "Mountainriver" here.
It is a 1vs 1 map! Audio and visual Briefing.30 Turns.

If you have any feedback i will be happy to read it.

Thanks and Good Luck on the Battlefield.

Please help - when I extract your files I don't see the game as a multiplayer option when I load pc2. Also I have begun to build my own multiplayer scenario, but again it does not show up as a game option when I create a challenge. I have tried everything I can think of, and no joy. It loads in the editor, it is exported as a .map file - but nothing.

How have you got your scenario working?

Thanks

Extract files to:

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2

Folder for Multiplayer will be created if not allready exists.

So the actual Files for the Map must be in:

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Multiplayer

I do not upload the image files - so you cant open the file in Editor.

I currently play a few rounds on the map with other players over steam - so make sure you extract to the right folder.

Thanks for that, I'll have a look at it.

Where did you find the instructions for doing this?

How did you create the *.pz2brf files, I don't see them generated by the editor and I can't find a mention on the editor forum :-(

Must be some kind intelligence i have :D

I did research on the game files. Scenarios for singleplayers / load into editor - open in txt editors. Checking folders.
Briefing files must be "Save as" within the editor.

Multiplayer folder was a guess that worked.

Ah, good job on the research then. Thanks, knowing that those files are for briefings is good news as those are not something I'm too concerned about.

I really enjoyed scripting in PZ1, thought they took ages to completely figure out. You could do some fun stuff with them so I hope LUA scripting is even more flexible.

Thanks

Chris

The '.pz2brf files' are generated via the 'Briefings' tab under 'Edit' when using the 'Add' tab.
Looking forward to more of your, excellent, work 'Owi'.

In the editor you have the option to create briefings for multiple sides. I've only created SP scenarios thus far.

Is it necessary to use "save as" for multiplayer briefings? I have yet to play a multiplayer match so haven't tested that.

It's time to make briefings though ... then we will test scenario gameplay Owi.
