Hi,
Can I buy any of the games from the website and then access them through my Steam account? If so, how does that work?
Thanks in advance,
Doc

Hi Doc,
This thread describes how to get steam keys for purchased games that support it:

Note that many of the older games slitherine offers don't have a steam version most recent releases do though.
You also receive a standalone installer for games that support it. Only one or two are steam only so the vast majority have either just standalone (mostly back-catalog older titles) or both steam and standalone versions available.
Buying through the Slitherine or Matrix Games sites gives access to both standalone and steam versions assuming that game has a steam version and is not steam only (e.g. like Empires Apart).

I don’t understand, why do you need this? This is not convenient.

For some players, owning games on steam is great because of the features steam provides, for others, steam is seen as a drm and they prefer games that have no drm. It's good having both.
