It's ". . . lack of a set of tournament rules that everyone likes. If you had a magic wand and could force a consensus . . ."
"most suitable for tournaments" would be a more interesting question, IMHO

I agree, Mike. The phrase "force a consensus" is particularly off-putting.
But I'll choose to think of it as a popularity poll for ancients tournament rules, and then move on.
