A new lease of life and a fun way to play

Howdy all,
I've owned the game since it was released and have predominately played it in multiplayer as FOGE. This is fun but the early version of the game did have its glaring issues (Diplomacy, Movement, No flanks) and I have stayed in less and less multiplayer games.
I decided to give single player a go and export the battles to FOG2 and it is surprisingly good fun.
I'd recommend taking a smaller nation and rping a bit by picking a general and only playing their battles or major engagements. The conversion does create some different numbers and combinations but for me that works well as it represents what force you can actually pull together for that engagement.
Anyway, my thoughts on maybe getting a bit more out of FOGE or FOG2 during this time of lockdown.
