Anything above a Panther or Jadgpather worth using in USA scenarios?

Ok and maybe a Tiger I too. But upgraded my best tank to a Tiger II on the East Coast and it spent a good bit of the game just getting to the battle. Looking at the West Coast, where the upgraded Tiger II and the Maus is available...any reason why I should consider the upgrade?

USA3 is when you want to go mad upgrading.
It is the only fictional scenario in 1945.
The the US and Germany get postwar/fictional equipment.
Did you try the southern landing area, more flat terrain for your Tiger II.

The Maus -- and to a lesser extent the Königtiger -- evoke Gladiator flashbacks.
Maus: Have I missed it? Have I missed the battle?
Panther: You've missed the war.

In USA1 by the time I got to the south the scenario was already won! I headed north to land (even with the Italians, who all survived the battle) as the Allied Navies would have chewed up my landing craft.

The scenario designer tested USA1 going the southern route.

I landed most of my heavy armour in the south. The US Navy won't actually get there in time to stop you if you beeline for it; just provide some air cover from the Graf Zeppelin.
