Matrix & Slitherine discussion boards - password failed

I can log in to the Slitherine website and go to the discussion board. I can post a comment like I'm doing here.
Using the same user name and password I log in to the Matrix game website. I log in and my user name appears on the top of the home page. Looks like I'm logged in. But when I hit "community" and go to the discussion board I'm only a "guest" and I'm not logged in. I can't make any posts.
I've ben in contact with Slitherine about this. But I wanted to post this to see if there is an easy solution somebody may have before Slitherine tries to figure it out.
