Is EDitor Broken for Mulitplayer?

I made a multiplayer scenario in the editor and cannot get it to show up in the menu when trying to set up an online game.

I modelled the scenario after NotNapoleon and was very careful to get everything right. It plays fine as a test play in the editor. Validation only shows errors in unit types -- but all the original multiplayer scenarios that come with the game also show the same error, so I think that's meaningless.

I could spend many more hours trying to figure this out, but would rather get a yes or no from the devs -- can you get multiplayer custom maps to play in the online game, and if so, how?

Thanks

I might have just answered my own question. It occurred to me that the multiplayer scenario names might be hardcoded into the user menu in the game. So I renamed the 3 Aachen files, and then took my scenario files and renamed them to Aachen. I haven't tried an online game yet, but I did try Hotseat, and when I selected Aachen it loaded my custom map.

Kind of a wonky workaround.

Just checked, and this fix works for online multiplayer as well.

I should read the patch notes. This was fixed in the 3/27 patch. You just have to save the files in a completely different location from the regular scenario files --

"- Multiplayer: The game should now display custom MP scenarios from 'Documents/My Games/Panzer Corps 2/Multiplayer' in the list"

I checked this, and it seems to work. Thanks Slitherine.
