Ambushed a bug with a sub

Minor bug in context, big deal in result:
Careful placement of a sub led to an ambush of a capital ship.
The sub crew got ready to party - same as the heroic general.... then the capital ship retaliated and ragdolled the sub
The logfile revealed that an ambush in that case is handled the ordinary way
The sub gets 99 initiative, so it just shoots first.
Then the capital ship unloads with... a ram attack?
It uses its standard naval attack value.
I assume this is not yet working as it should
Even expected a little extra omph for that scenario... as capital ship running into sub should be the lottery win for the sub captain.
